Book Cover Design for the book "The Hidden Story of Every Person & Other Short Stories" by Robert Pantano
The conceptual approach for the book cover design is centered around the theme of interaction. The book delves into the unique narratives of individuals and how these stories are shaped through interactions with others.
To visually represent this idea, I used overlapping circles as the central motif. Each circle symbolises an individual's story, and the intersections illustrate the dynamic and transformative impact of human connections. As people interact, their stories become more intertwined and enriched. This design aims to capture the profound influence of interactions on personal narratives, reflecting the core message of Pantano's work.
The second approach to the design of the same book is focused on the idea of existence. I used fingerprints in different colors and glowing effects on the cover. Each fingerprint stands for a different person, showing that everyone has their own story. The colours and glow make each fingerprint stand out, highlighting the uniqueness of each person's journey.
The goal of this design is to show that everyone's story matters because they exist. The variety of fingerprints emphasises that we are all connected through our shared existence, even though our stories are different.
